Your Shopify connection is moving to more secure access tokens, no action needed

Starting the week of October 26, we’re upgrading Ordergroove’s connection to your Shopify store to use a more secure type of access token. You don’t need to do anything. The update happens behind the scenes, and your subscriptions, orders, and storefront keep running as usual.

On January 1, 2027 Shopify will begin enforcing all public apps, Ordergroove included, to use expiring offline access tokens. The change is designed to better protect your store’s data. We’re rolling the upgrade out early and in phases, so every store is switched over before the holiday rush.

Questions? Reach out to your Ordergroove CSM or our support team. For the technical details, see Shopify’s developer announcement.
