Updated Selling Plan Names

Great news for our Shopify customers! Selling plan names now describe both the initial and recurring discounts you've configured in Ordergroove. These are the names that appear in your cart and checkout, and will give customers the confidence to subscribe.

The next time you update your promotions you will see this change on your store. If you'd like to see the update immediately, simply navigate to Promotions in RC3 and click "edit" next to your active promotion. Re-save with the same configurations and your plan names will update!

Retry Now button

When your customers update their payment method due to order failure, we have received feedback that the only way for you to accelerate the 'order retry' is to reach out to our customer support.  With this latest enhancement, we are excited to now provide you the ability to immediately retry the order with the "Retry Now" button on the Customers page.

Cancel Order button

We are happy to announce that with our latest release, you now have the ability to cancel orders on the Customers page.  For orders that are in certain order states, a cancel order button will now appear on the Customers page that allows you to cancel the order on your own instead of having to take the extra step of reaching out to our support team to cancel on your behalf.

Set an Email Reply-to Address

With this newly released enhancement to our emails feature you can now include a "reply-to" email address to your Ordergroove transactional emails. This will help merchants better communicate with customers who reply to Ordergroove's transactional emails. When a customer replies to an email, the reply will be sent to the reply-to email address.

Edit and Reactivate Previous Discounts

Customers using Ordergroove's new Promotions v2 configuration tool can now edit and reactivate previous discounts instead of creating a new one each time.

Haven't made the switch to v2 yet and are interested in making the move? Reach out to your Ordergroove team or to me directly at andrew.magne@ordergroove.com.

Top Level Navigation

Over time the navigation of RC3 has become more and more cluttered and has gotten very confusing. As part of our continuous dedication to improve the experience using our software we have recently released an entirely new navigation! Some highlights below:

- Top level navigation will allow for more working space, particularly helpful when using one of our code editors to configure your program

- Thoughtful information architecture to help minimize thinking and searching for where to go

- All the same functionality of RC3, just easier to find it!

Note: If you are still seeing your navigation on the left side of the screen - don't worry! The update has not been released for your account yet. You can expect it within the next week.

Single Sign-On (SSO) on Shopify

We are excited to release a new feature that will make accessing Ordergroove even easier for Shopify merchants. With our new Single Sign-On (SSO) feature, Shopify merchants will be automatically logged into the Ordergroove admin (RC3) when they access the app, and will no longer require a username and password.

Starting today, new Shopify merchants who install Ordergroove will not be assigned login credentials. Whenever they access Ordergroove they will be logged in automatically via their Shopify account. All existing Ordergroove merchants will continue to use their username and password to access RC3.

Shopify app redirect to new tab

We know things can get a little cramped when you are making changes to your subscription program from within Shopify. We want you to have all the screen real estate you need to make using Ordergroove a breeze. With this update, when you open our app from within the Apps page on your Shopify admin, we will redirect you to a new browser tab to use Ordergroove. As always, you can also access Ordergroove directly by going to rc3.ordergroove.com.

Revoked Payment Methods on Shopify

Sometimes a customer's payment method will become revoked, due to expired cards, invalid information, or sometimes because the customer used the same card again.

Ordergroove will now mark these payment methods as unusable in our system, so customers will see accurately which card can be used and charged for their upcoming orders.

Also, we will no longer attempt to update a customer's merged and revoked cards on Shopify. This situation occurs when a customer updates an existing payment method to the same details as another one. This can cause issues with updating payment in the future and during Order Placement.
